ASMP-ONC Speed Portfolio Review

Please plan to join us for our next ASMP Ohio North Coast program: “The Speed Portfolio Review”
It's like speed dating - for your portfolio. This has been an extremely popular program.
Bring in your best work for an evaluation from our selected panelists who buy or sell photography. Each panelist is a creative professional in their field, representing Architecture, Graphic Design, Advertising, and Fine Art. We will also have several ASMP-ONC photographers reviewing portfolios for students and assistants.
The format of your portfolio is completely up to you.

Anthony Hiti, became a Principal of Herman Gibans Fodor, Inc. – Architects (HGF) in 2002 and has held various positions with HGF since joining the practice in 1989. He has been involved in several senior living, historic preservation, healthcare, institutional and interiors projects as the lead designer or project architect. Tony attended the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and received his B. Arch. from the University of Cincinnati in 1989. He has also completed advanced studies in Residential Environments for the Elderly at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Tony is a Trustee of the Cleveland Restoration Society, Chair of AIA Cleveland's Committee on Historic Resources and a member of the City of Euclid Architecture Review Board.

Responsibilities include design, art direction, and project management.

Nesnadny + Schwartz is a Cleveland-based design consultancy which began in 1980 and currently includes a staff of fourteen professionals. To date, their clients’ projects have been honored with more than 1,700 international, national, and regional awards in the areas of marketing communications, public relations, recruiting, investor communications, development, graphic identity and brand development, interactive electronic design, illustration, and graphic design.

"Pricing Aerobics” – an exercise in estimating

This will be an educational program to share information on how individuals have approached business situations in the past. Specifically, estimating. This program isn't just about pricing. It's about knowing what questions you could be asking your clients to achieve a more profitable outcome. Find out how others might have estimated or invoiced their clients for creative fees, editing services, usage rights, etc

This will be a group participation program, plan on attending, and expect to get involved.

This will be an ASMP-ONC members only program!!!

ASMP-ONC Annual Membership Meeting

Please join ASMP-ONC on Thursday March 13th, 2008 for our Annual Membership Meeting.

Meet our new Board, enjoy great food, and partake of another popular Pints & Pixels. This is a show and tell of your personal work with the stories behind the images.

Submit your images as no bigger than either 1200 pixels long or 700 pixels high (whichever comes first) @ 72 PPI, saved as a JPEG. Please try and submit around 10 images or less.

Ian Summers has a very diverse background in the creative world, such as: art director, creative director, painter, poet, investigative journalist, think tank operator, teacher, and publisher to name a few. Ian was Creative Director of The Creative Black Book, Leber Katz Partners, and Random House. He's won numerous awards in the advertising and publishing worlds including a Gold Medal from The Society of Illustrators and has written and designed dozens of books.

Summers reinvented himself, identified his loves, and rediscovered his passion for teaching. He synthesized all the things that worked in his career and created Ian Summers' Creativity Workshop. Since 1987, thousands of creators who wish to grow do what they love and prosper, have participated in individual and group workshops. In 1994, Summers developed Heartstorming Adventure Trainings to meet the ever-changing needs and desires of creatives.
