Apple has promised yearly updates to the Mac OS and that means OS X 10.10, code-named Yosemite, will be out this fall. What changes and updates can we expect? Is this a “must have” update? Attend the September CDPUG meeting and find out!

Scott Seifert of Team Spike Consulting, will share what he has learned from running the new public beta on his Macbook Air. Scott will discuss the newly redesigned interface and streamlined Finder and Spotlight. He will explore some of the new features that will add even more power to OS X, like the new Extensions feature, including a demo of it in the new Yosemite Mail app. The discussion will also cover how Apple is improving iCloud with iCloud Drive, and how OS X is integrated into iOS with features like the new “Handoff” and the ability to make and receive iPhone calls on your Mac. As always, be sure to bring your own questions about the new Operating System. Scott loves to answer questions from the audience!
