Stereoscopic images have been created, printed, and published for over 150 years! This presentation will highlight many aspects of this unique way of viewing the world, including: the history of 3D; how we see 3D; how 3D pictures are taken; and how 3D images can be viewed. Particular attention will be paid to the special advantages and challenges of printing 3D material. There will also be demonstrations of 3D cameras and monitors, a collection of award winning 3D images, and samples of 3D novelties.
