Overview of 3-D Software for Creative Professionals

Are you a graphic designer pondering on creating 3D objects or imagery? Do you want to modify an existing object or create something original? You need the right software tools for the task at hand. Our July 31st meeting will explore a range of software packages available on the market today.

The applications that will be demonstrated will range from free to commercial, and simple to complex. There will be something for everyone. Our dynamic panel of speakers will show you Autodesk 123D Design and TinkerCAD, DAZ3D Studio, Maxon Cinema4D and Dassault Systemes Solidworks.

Harry W. Dempsey is the owner and photographer at auto:haus IMAGE, which focuses on photographic services for architecture and motorsports. Classically trained as an architect and with a passion for motorsports, Harry brings a compositional eye trained by a long history in both disciplines to his work.

His architectural work serves the community of Northeast Ohio on spaces and buildings both in and out of town. For his racing work, while he calls the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course home, he has shot both nationally and internationally, including Sebring, Long Beach, and Le Mans.
